Finals : the storm came down on Orchies with another thunderous windmill jam from SAMI. No one could imagine a better dunk and the spectators didn't think BAMBA would get a better mark.
That's not knowing the wizard BAMBA well! He put the ball on the floor 2 meters away from the rim. Everyone stood still, waiting for the dunk, dubiously. The scenario was as expected for BAMBA who started running from mid-court. With the silence in the gym, one could clearly hear the last 2 steps sound on the wooden floor.
BAMBA started executing a cartwheel, grabbing the ball, head down, feet up, falling back and immediately exploding into a 180? left handed jam.

Each spectator could tell you about the noise that the dunk made in that silent gym.
There was an incredible cheer to that athlete : people in the attendance gathered and the other dunkers lifted BAMBA off the ground to celebrate the wizard.
With Orchies' President VANBLEU begging for another dunk, BAMBA did the same cartwheel but finished with a tremendous reverse slam.
No need to mention the reaction of all the people in the gym!
The revelation BAMBA with his cartwheel (righthand picture) was named King of the dunkers and everybody was still cheering.
MEDJANA called all the dunkers in centercourt for a final shout to cheer BAMBA's victory and to seal that unique and unforgettable Slam Dunk contest.
At the door of the locker-room, MEDJANA announced, with Philippe MORIN (Nike France), the organisation of a similar contest in Paris in September, with the presence of an NBA star.
It's during the Nike Thunder Tour that Mitch RICHMOND came to Paris to attend the Slam Dunk contest organized by MEDJANA at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
The Slam Dunk contest rules were simple : 2 rounds with 4 dunkers from the Orchies Slam Dunk contest plus 2 dunkers selected during a small contest earlier that day.
In that contest, MEDJANA met Mohamed TAAMALLAH, and Gilles TIRILLY, who had come with BAMBA.
TIRILLY was probably the only white dunker able to compete along with BAMBA or ZIANI.
The contest was outdoors and the spectators were really 'hot'.
On the jury were Mitch RICHMOND and one of the most talented French players, Moustapha SONKO.
The NBA star, U.S. Dream Team member, said, right after BAMBA's cartwheel dunk, that that dunk would make him win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
The same day, MEDJANA met a friend, Bouna N'DIAYE, basketball player and sports agent, with whom he had played ball earlier that year.
At the end of the event, they began talking, and decided to call eachother the next day.
They figured out a concept based on the dunk and decided to create a company, COMSPORT, and worked on the concept of the SLAM NATION.
